When they came to Ducie, the problem was clear: they were running events for audiences they hadn't yet met. Their website functioned as a business card rather than a commercial asset. They had never found a reliable way to reach the specific, high-net-worth individuals and institutions that make up their membership - and previous attempts at paid advertising had produced nothing.

The brief was precise: find new audiences, convert them, and prove that advertising could work for a brand this niche and this exclusive.

WHAT WE DID

The challenge wasn't just running ads. It was finding the right people in one of the hardest-to-reach professional segments in the world.

The first job was the website. A site that doesn't convert is just an expensive brochure - before any traffic could be sent to it, we rebuilt the commercial architecture: clear conversion pathways for both ticket sales and event sponsorship, with copy and page structure designed to move the right visitor to the right action.

On paid media, we focused entirely on YouTube and LinkedIn - the two platforms with the targeting capability to reach private hedge fund managers, family office principals, and alternative investment professionals. This is an audience that most agencies fail to reach because most targeting approaches simply aren't precise enough. We built audience stacks using job title, seniority, industry, and behavioural signals to isolate exactly the right individuals and institutions - including service providers who would represent high-value sponsorship prospects.

The email layer was built in Mailchimp to serve two purposes: nurturing new leads acquired through paid channels, and converting the existing AYU audience more effectively through a first-access campaign structure that now launches automatically each time a new event goes live.
