What is paid media and how is it different from SEO?
Paid media means paying to show your ads to a target audience - on Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or elsewhere. You pay per click or per impression. SEO is organic - it takes longer but the traffic is free once you rank. Most scaling businesses need both: paid media for immediate, controllable traffic; SEO for compounding long-term growth.
How much should I spend on paid media?
There is no universal answer - it depends on your sector, margins, and goals. As a starting point, enough to generate statistically meaningful data is the minimum. What is Performance Max and should I be using it?
Performance Max is Google's AI-driven campaign type that serves ads across Search, Display, YouTube, Gmail, and Maps from a single campaign. It works well when fed good audience signals, creative assets, and conversion data. It can waste budget quickly when it isn't. We assess whether it's right for each client rather than defaulting to it.
How long does it take to see results from paid media?
Unlike SEO, paid media can drive results within days. That said, the first 4-8 weeks are typically a learning phase - campaigns gather data, algorithms optimise, and we refine targeting and creative based on real signals. Expect meaningful performance data within 30 days and improving results from week 6-8 onwards.
Do you require long-term contracts?
We work on rolling monthly retainers. No long lock-in contracts. We believe the results should be reason enough to stay. That said, paid media does improve over time as campaigns accumulate data - so a 3-6 month commitment gives you the best chance of seeing the full picture.
